If Williston wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Gainesville, they should've done a better job of containing Charlotte Judge. The Hurricanes put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Judge, who had four digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

Gainesville walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-18.

The win got Gainesville back to even at 1-1. As for Williston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Gainesville will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Trinity Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Williston, they will head out on the road to challenge Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
