Recap: Rhodes Rams vs. Garrett Morgan Falcons
The Rhodes Rams can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 45-36 victory over Garrett Morgan. The win was just what Rhodes needed coming off of a 69-16 loss in their prior matchup.
Daniya King continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists. That's the first time this season that she posted eight or more assists. Nikyia Davis was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Rhodes' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Garrett Morgan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.
Rhodes will head out on the road to challenge Collinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Collinwood comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Garrett Morgan, Garrett Morgan and Bard Early College will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bard Early College is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
