Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Maranatha Christian, as they earned their first road win of the season. They managed a 35-30 victory over Mullins Marion Christian two weeks ago. The win was just what Maranatha Christian needed coming off of a 46-16 defeat in their prior matchup.
Mullins Marion Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Maranatha Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
