The Cavaliers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past School for Entrepreneurship & Technology 3-2 with plenty of help from Jewell, who had 55 assists and ten digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 15 times he's played.

San Diego Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 24-26, 25-9, 25-20, 15-11.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and St. Joseph Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on Cristo Rey with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.
