Baseball Recap: Knippa Takes a Loss

Knippa and Fayetteville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Knippa had to settle for second. They lost 10-1 to the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Crushers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cameron S made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Knippa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.

While Knippa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
