Grace Christian had won eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 2-0 to make it nine. They strolled past the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. The Crusaders pushed the score to 65-37 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chancellors cut but never quite recovered from.

Josiah Currie went supernova, shooting 75% from the field en route to 18 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Grant Jacques was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

As for St. Thomas More Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. They have struggled against Grace Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

St. Thomas More Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gabe Galloway, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Paul Mack, who posted 17 points and three steals.
