Recap: Citrus Hill Hawks vs. Liberty Bison
The Citrus Hill Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Liberty, falling 91-53. Citrus Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-26.
Citrus Hill's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roland Thibodeaux, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Thibodeaux scored a full 39.6% of Citrus Hill's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerren White, who scored ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Citrus Hill has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Liberty, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4.
