Coahoma County had won six straight games and Caleb Hearns did his part to make it seven on Tuesday. The Coahoma County Red Panthers put the hurt on the North Panola Cougars with a sharp 56-32 victory thanks in part to Hearns, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 18 times he's played.

Coahoma County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for North Panola, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Coahoma County will face off against Rosa Fort at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Panola, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the North Panola Cougars face off against the Independence Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
