Basketball Game Preview: Sheboygan South Redwings vs. Oakfield Oaks

The Sheboygan South Redwings will head out to take on the Oakfield Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheboygan South has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight losses, while Oakfield will come in with eight straight wins.

Last Friday, Sheboygan South was beaten by Bay Port 69-25. While losing is never fun, the Redwings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while the Pirates are ranked 97th).

Dodgeland typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Oakfield proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 58-38 victory.

Oakfield's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Sheboygan South, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.
