Perry Central strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 71-53 win over the Cannelton Bulldogs. The Commodores pushed the score to 58-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Gage Clark had an outrageously good game as he shot 63% from the field en route to 13 points in addition to six assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Ben Hubert, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points.

Cannelton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gage Garrett, who posted 18 points along with seven assists and three steals, and Kobe Aud, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 21 points.

Perry Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cannelton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Central will host Wood Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cannelton, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seven Oaks Classical at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
