Volleyball Recap: Canyon Springs Comes Up Short

Canyon Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 21-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Claude Paras paced Canyon Springs' offense, picking up 21 kills. Paras got some help from TayShaun Elliott and his 36 assists. Finally, Paras was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Canyon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Canyon Springs has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Desert Pines on the 3rd. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Boulder City on the 2nd.
