Hiawatha entered their tilt with Atchison County on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Tigers 8-1. Considering the Red Hawks have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hiawatha's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Atchison County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Hiawatha will square off against Silver Lake at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Atchison County, they will welcome Horton on Monday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
