After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four matches, Greensburg finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Batesville Bulldogs. Greensburg's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Greensburg's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-3-1. As for Batesville, their record is now 3-7-2.

Coincidentally, Greensburg and Batesville will both be playing East Central the next time they take the pitch. The Pirates will host the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
