Basketball Recap: Donelson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Donelson Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt an 81-54 loss at the hands of the Goodpasture Christian Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Cougars are ranked 13th).

Donelson Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Goodpasture Christian, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

Donelson Christian Academy will take on Nashville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Goodpasture Christian, they will welcome Ezell-Harding Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Goodpasture Christian's favor as the team sits on 23 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Ezell-Harding Christian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
