Basketball Recap: Rocklin's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Saturday + How To Watch

Rocklin's tournament run continued when they took on Chico on Saturday. The Thunder came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 68-57. Given the Thunder's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Panthers are ranked 525th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rocklin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Chico, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocklin will take on West Park in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chico and River Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
