Baseball Recap: Holton Comes Up Short

Holton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Sabetha Bluejays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 on Monday.

Holton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Sabetha, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Holton will challenge rival Perry-Lecompton on Monday. Meanwhile, Sabetha is set to take on their familiar foe Nemaha Central on Monday.
