Basketball Recap: Christian Rodriguez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Capuchino over Lynbrook + How To Watch

Capuchino lost against Lynbrook back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 73-63 to the Vikings. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (55), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Rodriguez, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Javier Carter, who posted 16 points and three steals.

Capuchino's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Capuchino will welcome Rise University Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lynbrook, they will head out on the road to square off against Saint Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
