Baseball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

The Austin Black Bears came up short against the Bayside Academy Admirals on Wednesday, falling 12-4. That's two games in a row now that the Black Bears have lost by exactly eight runs.

Austin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Harville, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Conner Hill also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Austin and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for Bayside Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Austin will head out on the road to take on Hatton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bayside Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-4 win against New Hope on the 12th.
