Meanwhile, Riverside fought the good fight in their overtime contest against O'Bannon on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Greenwaves by a score of 36-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since December 17, 2024.

Bruce has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Riverside, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
