Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Croswell-Lexington). They blew past the Almont Raiders, posting a 63-28 win. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Raiders are ranked 546th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Croswell-Lexington's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Almont, Imlay City, and Richmond. As for Almont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Croswell-Lexington will face off against Imlay City at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Almont, they and Richmond will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
