Metrolina Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Carmel Christian Cougars as the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors made off with a 14-2 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Chase Kiker made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Case Gibbs looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Metrolina Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jacob Seamon, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Seamon is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Lerch, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Metrolina Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Metrolina Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.6 runs. As for Carmel Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.
