Basketball Recap: S & S Consolidated Takes a Loss

S & S Consolidated was the 45-37 winner over Texoma Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The S & S Consolidated Rams took a blow against the Texoma Christian Eagles on Friday, falling 78-46. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joe Orr, who posted 17 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Hammer, who put up nine points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, S & S Consolidated smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

S & S Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Texoma Christian, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

S & S Consolidated wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-45 loss against Savoy on the 6th. As for Texoma Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 32-28 win against Dodd City on the 10th.
