McComb is 0-8 against Liberty-Benton since February of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The McComb Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Liberty-Benton Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

McComb is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Columbus Grove on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. McComb was dealt a 72-32 defeat at the hands of Columbus Grove. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Liberty-Benton's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for McComb, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-4.
