Ysleta came tearing into Tuesday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Riverside Rangers with a sharp 7-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in March.

Santiago Osorio made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI.

In other batting news, Ysleta let Gavin Mata and Evan Martinez run wild. Mata went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Martinez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. Martinez has become a key player for Ysleta: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 10-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Alexander Rubio, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Ysleta pushed their record up to 15-13 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9-1.

Ysleta will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rangers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
