Basketball Recap: Bunceton Takes a Loss

Bunceton was the 42-31 winner over Prairie Home when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bunceton Dragons fell to the Prairie Home Panthers 53-49.

Bunceton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Prairie Home, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

Bunceton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tuscumbia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie Home, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-49 win against Otterville on the 22nd.
