Basketball Recap: Upperman Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Farmington

Upperman is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Farmington. The Upperman Bees took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Farmington Cardinals. The Bees have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Upperman's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Farmington, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Upperman will challenge Lenoir City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Upperman has won six straight at home dating back to last season, while Lenoir City won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Farmington has already played their next matchup, a 74-65 victory against Bearden on the 31st.
