Homedale is 9-1 against Weiser since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will face off against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Homedale put up the most points they have all season last Friday. They breezed past Cole Valley Christian to the tune of 70-26. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Homedale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kade Hall out in front who rushed for 109 yards and four TDs on only nine carries. Thanks to that big game, Hall is now up to 19 rushing touchdowns on the season. Another player making a difference was Alec Campos, who gained 168 total yards and a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Homedale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Homedale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Mason Taylor, Carson Fine, and Domingo Asumendi picked up one apiece. Asumendi got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Weiser had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They strolled past the Timberwolves with points to spare, taking the game 40-21. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.
Weiser's win came from a few key players Homedale will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ty Cobb, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Those 132 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Herrera-Garcia, who picked up 45 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Weiser's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Shayd Crossley was the leader with two.
Homedale's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Weiser, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Homedale has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 202.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Weiser struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 240.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Homedale was able to grind out a solid win over Weiser in their previous matchup back in October, winning 24-14. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Wolverines' Cole Ingle, who rushed for 128 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.
