Catalina came into Monday's contest having lost 29 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 55-25 win over the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Catalina's victory ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-14. As for Andrada Polytechnic, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Catalina and Andrada Polytechnic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. Catalina (ranked 341st) will meet Sabino (ranked 64th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Andrada Polytechnic will face off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 205 places (344 vs. 139).
