Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against Poinciana back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

While Liberty was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Poinciana's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Liberty has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Poinciana, they moved to 8-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Gateway on the 23rd. As for Poinciana, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Davenport on the 28th.
