Softball Preview: Ellsworth Panthers vs. Prescott Cardinals        
        
		
            
 Ellsworth has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  challenge the Prescott Cardinals at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Ellsworth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game  this season.
 On Tuesday, Ellsworth had just enough and edged Prescott out  2-1.
  Aliza Acker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Ellsworth's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Molly Jahnke, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Ellsworth's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 13-6. As for Prescott, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
