The Sam Houston Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Sulphur 43-38. Sam Houston has not had much luck with Sulphur recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Sam Houston still got an impressive performance from Blaine Davey, who scored 11 points. The game was Davey's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carson Thibodeaux, who scored six points.
Even though they lost, Sam Houston were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Sam Houston has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Sulphur, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
