Hilltop not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024. They put the hurt on the Chula Vista Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

With the win, Hilltop broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8. As for Chula Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Hilltop and Victory Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chula Vista, they will be taking part in a tournament against San Diego at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
