Soccer Game Preview: Pecos vs. Greenwood

The Pecos Eagles will face off against the Greenwood Rangers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenwood took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pecos, who comes in off a win.

Pecos took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Snyder as Pecos made off with a 6-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Sweetwater. That's two games in a row now that the Rangers have lost by just one goal.

Pecos now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Greenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Pecos was able to grind out a solid win over Greenwood in their previous meeting back in January, winning 3-1. Will Pecos repeat their success, or does Greenwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
