Football Recap: Grady Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Grady and Petrides squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Grady had to settle for second. They were beaten by Petrides 30-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Joshua Okwuabueze was his usual excellent self, rushing for 126 yards and two scores on only 15 carries for Petrides. Okwuabueze's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 126 rushing yards.

The loss snapped Grady's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-2 record. As for Petrides, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Grady does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Petrides, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-6 victory against East Harlem on the 29th.
