Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans vs. Miller Rustlers
After flying high against Platte/Geddes last Tuesday, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton came back down to earth. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Miller Rustlers on Tuesday. The Titans have struggled against the Rustlers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Mt. Vernon/Plankinton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.
