Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Platte/Geddes last Tuesday, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton came back down to earth. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Miller Rustlers on Tuesday. The Titans have struggled against the Rustlers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Miller, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton and Kimball/White Lake will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miller, they will square off against Hitchcock-Tulare at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
