Brockway had lost seven games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-12 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Clarion Wolves, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rovers have posted since April 11th.

Ben Yale was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Park, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

As for North Clarion, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked their highest-scoring matchup to date.

On North Clarion's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Pappas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Pappas has brought in this season. Andrew Stanley was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brockway will head out to face off against Bradford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Clarion, they will venture away from home to square off against Brookville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
