Wayne Trace is 8-2 against Paulding since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Wayne Trace Raiders will challenge the Paulding Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Paulding took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wayne Trace, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Wayne Trace didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Emmanuel Christian, but they still walked away with a 41-36 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Paulding challenged Miller City on Saturday. Paulding took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Miller City. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 537th, while the Wildcats are ranked 84th).

Wayne Trace's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Paulding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Wayne Trace beat Paulding 44-33 in their previous matchup back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wayne Trace since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
