Basketball Recap: Richards Comes Up Short

Richards lost to Oak Lawn back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 53-47 to the Spartans. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 33-24 in the first quarter.

Richards' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Oak Lawn, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Richards is taking a road trip to take on Agricultural Science at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Lawn, they will look to defend their home court on Sunday against Marian Catholic at 3:00 p.m.
