Baseball Recap: Perham's Undefeated Season over After 14 Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last nine matchups, Perham finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of the Anoka Tornadoes by a score of 3-1. The game marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Perham saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Detloff, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perham fell to 13-1. As for Anoka, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Perham will square off against Barnesville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Anoka, they will be playing at home against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
