Softball Recap: Santiago Comes Up Short

After flying high against La Sierra on Saturday, Santiago came back down to earth. The Sharks fell just short of the Norco Cougars by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Norco, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Santiago nor Norco have any future games scheduled.
