Volleyball Recap: Chico Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Chico, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Las Plumas Thunderbirds 3-0 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

While Chico won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 27-25.

Chico pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Las Plumas, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Chico will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Oroville at 6:30 p.m. As for Las Plumas, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shasta at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th.
