Basketball Recap: Joshua Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Joshua Christian can now relate to. They came up short against the Providence Prep Rams on Friday, falling 63-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since February 16, 2024.

Lilly Hodge was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds for Providence Prep. The dominant performance gave Hodge a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Audrey Gaidusek, who went 6-for-7 to rack up 12 points and four steals.

Joshua Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Providence Prep, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Joshua Christian nor Providence Prep have any future games scheduled.
