Basketball Recap: Salisbury Christian Comes Up Short

Salisbury Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Eastern Shore HomeSchool Mavericks didn't end well, with Salisbury Christian falling 57-39.

Eastern Shore HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zach Miller led the charge by going 9 for 15 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Cousins, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Salisbury Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastern Shore HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Salisbury Christian will take on Nandua at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastern Shore HomeSchool, they will face off against The Gunston School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
