Baseball Recap: Bonduel Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bonduel and Brillion, and Brillion kept the tradition alive. The Bears fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Lions when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bonduel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Brillion, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonduel will head out to face off against Amherst at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brillion, they will venture away from home to challenge Valders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
