Volleyball Recap: Dedham Comes Up Short

Dedham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ashland Clockers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clockers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Dedham was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ashland work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-12, 25-23.

Dedham's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Ashland, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Dedham has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Malden Catholic on the 9th. As for Ashland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Whitinsville Christian on the 10th.
