Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Hills Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Piedmont Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Leigh Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Leigh scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Defeat or not, Piedmont Hills got some senior leadership from Eden Ng and Katelyn Young. Ng had 20 digs and two aces, while Young had seven digs and three aces. Zimo Zhou also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Piedmont Hills' loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Leigh, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.
