Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lexington). They never let the Sheffield Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Golden Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

Lexington's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9. As for Sheffield, they are on a 34-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coincidentally, Lexington and Sheffield will both be playing Colbert County the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
