Ball and Santa Fe are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but likely not for long. The Ball Tornadoes are taking a road trip to square off against the Santa Fe Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Ball's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Texas City, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe fell victim to Texas City and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Stingarees. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ball has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-11-3 record this season. Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1.

Everything went Ball's way against Santa Fe in their previous matchup back in February, as Ball made off with a 6-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ball since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
