Basketball Recap: Kotzebue Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kotzebue can now relate to. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost five in a row.

Kotzebue's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Mt. Edgecumbe, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.

Kotzebue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Edgecumbe, they and Valdez will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
