Basketball Recap: Whitehouse Takes a Loss

Whitehouse was the 45-29 winner over Marshall when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Whitehouse Wildcats took a hard 45-27 fall against the Marshall Mavericks on Friday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Whitehouse's defeat dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 6-21.

Coming up, Whitehouse will welcome Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall, they will head out to challenge Nacogdoches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall is facing Nacogdoches at the right time seeing as Nacogdoches is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
